If you have signed up for electronic prescribing by nominating a pharmacy your prescription will normally be sent electronically to that pharmacy.  There will be no need for you to collect a script from the practice - go straight to your nominated pharmacy to collect your medication.

Please note: a few medications, such as controlled drugs, cannot be sent electronically.  If you are asking for a number of medicines and one or more cannot be sent electronically, you or your pharmacy will need to collect a paper script from us for all items.

Please allow at least two working days for your prescription request to be processed plus additional time if it is to be dispensed by a pharmacy

All repeat prescriptions are reviewed regularly by the doctor.  You may be asked to see your doctor or have tests done before your prescription can be issued.

The practice is always closed on Bank Holidays - please ensure prescription requests are made well in advance at these times, particularly over the Christmas/New Year period, to ensure you do not run out of medication.
